With the Assisted Translation Module, EDITerm integrates your terminological database into your word processor. The Tools Menu of your Word and WordPerfect contains two additional commands. In Lookup Mode, you can perform any of the operations to which you are entitled in the EDITerm database. In the Translation Mode, the module creates a second copy of the text to be translated. In the first copy, based on your parameters, it will mark the terms it has found in the text for which a term record already exists. In the second, it will insert the first equivalent contained in the record in place of the relevant term.

The Assisted Translation Module is most useful when a project involves a number of translators by ensuring terminological consistency across separate texts.
