John Chandioux, founder of the Group, is a specialist in computational linguistics. After a number of years of teaching and research at the university level in France and in Canada, he incorporated and continues to direct his own research and development firm, John Chandioux Consultants Inc. He is the author of the GramR® programing language and of a number of machine translation systems, including METEO®.

Mr. Chandioux is recognized as the first Quebec supplier of spelling and grammar checking technology for the francophone market. Finally, he is a member of the board of directors of both the Observatoire québécois des industries de la langue and the Comité d'action pour le français dans l'informatique and acts as consultant to public and private institutions.

Mr. Chandioux is also the Vice President of EDIT Inc.
